About the role:
This role will work as part of the financial planning and analysis team at Cartiga, and report directly to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and analytical candidate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing actionable insights, forecasts, and performance analyses. What you will take on:
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Support the delivery of accurate monthly results, forecast, and budget package.
- Prepare variance analyses comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets, providing insights into underlying drivers.
- Support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with cross-departmental business partners to establish plans and assumptions for achieving business targets.
- Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Carry out scenario analysis, model business scenarios, and develop contingency plans to navigate changes in market conditions.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to influence strategic decisions and financial outcomes.
Who you are:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or a similar analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP & Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis capabilities.
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
