Roles & Responsibilities:

- Create a fun and engaging environment for our guests!
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner as they approach the counter
- Assist guests with questions, recommend specials or specific drinks, and provide a positive and engaging experience for each guest.
- Provide explanation and recommendation for seasonal specialty drinks
- Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
- Take orders while paying attention to specific details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios, etc.).
- Prepare beverages by following the pre-defined recipes
- Conduct Point of Sale (POS) transactions while ensuring all handling procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions, loss prevention
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee and tea
- Replenish condiments, beverage ingredients, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
- Clean and sanitize all utensils and equipment
- Prepare and stock grab-and-go items, such as sandwiches and bottled beverages
- Provide support to Cartoon Kitchen restaurant as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- All other duties assigned by leadership.
Education and Experience:
- No education requirements for this position
- Previous work experience is not required
- Must be Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire, when required by state and local guidelines.
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with PA Child Labor Laws
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
- Ability to comply with all uniform policies
- Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local beverage preparation and serving regulations
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
- Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
- Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment
- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 20 pounds or more
Working Conditions:
- This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments
- Some exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
- Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments
- Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
