Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to join our team. Duties
- Stock and rotate produce items to ensure freshness and quality.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding produce selection and usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
- Operate a forklift safely for moving large quantities of produce as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient department operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and providing product recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with both English-speaking and bilingual customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or produce department is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage inventory effectively, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Forklift certification is a plus; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
