CARU Containers is a leading player in the B2B wholesale shipping container market, dedicated to providing sustainable, reliable, and innovative solutions to our clients. We’re expanding our team and are looking for a driven and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us strengthen existing customer relationships and bring in new business opportunities.
As Business Development Representative (BDR), you are the face of CARU Containers and responsible for managing existing customers and attracting new customers within the wholesale container market. Your role will focus on optimizing customer relationships, expanding into new B2B sales markets and collaborating across teams to ensure customer satisfaction and commercial objectives.
As BDR you maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, both national and international. You proactively approach customers for new business. You are aware of developments in the market and know how to use this information to respond to customer needs in a timely manner. You work with other members of the Sales and Operations teams to deliver on customer expectations and needs. Drafting quotations for customers and follow up on generated leads is part of your day to day tasks. You thrive during networking events and trade shows where you increase the awareness of CARU Containers.
In order to respond to the customer needs with appropriate advice, you listen carefully and tailor solutions to the needs of the customer. You identify opportunities by market and competition mapping and bring sustainable initiatives to the customers’ attention such as one-way leasing to reduce environmental impact.
You’re great at planning and organizing. You draw up strategic account plans for both new and existing customers. You regularly quantify and discuss customer relationships and keep track of market developments that may affect the business operations of existing and new customers. In event of escalation, you respond quickly and liaise accurately with parties involved to guarantee customer satisfaction.
