**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to manage and execute procurement strategies for indirect and capital purchasing. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, identifying and implementing technology solutions to improve procurement efficiency, and leading cost reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute procurement strategies for indirect and capital purchasing, balancing tactical execution with strategic goals and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement efforts with business needs, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with company policies.
- Develop supplier and category strategies to optimize procurement decisions, ensuring market competitiveness and value delivery.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement technology solutions that improve procurement efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through sourcing analysis, supplier negotiations, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of 5-7 years of purchasing, supply chain, and materials management experience.
- ISM or APICS certifications preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement with a focus on both indirect and capital purchasing.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management skills.
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems; familiarity with BaaN, IFS, or Maximo preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop procurement strategies and implement process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
