THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, the Quality Intern will :

Complete technical projects to gain an understanding of the operations of a chemical plant and the chemical industry.
Perform tasks requiring the application of standard laboratory techniques and procedures to build upon technical expertise.
Learn and execute methods of testing in-process and finished products to ensure they meet appropriate specifications.
Participate in several offsite visits to expand knowledge of manufacturing technologies, local history, and the Carus business.
Deliver a presentation of accomplishments and experience to the leadership team.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The right candidate will be a self-directed, analytical, and organized individual who is naturally curious and shows strong attention to detail. Your credentials ideally include :

Undergraduate students currently enrolled in at least their sophomore year pursuing a degree in chemistry or a related science field.

Previous hands-on experience working with machinery and scientific instruments

Communication skills that show an ability to be a collaborative team player with a can-do attitude

Strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines
