About The Team And Position
The Safe and Secure Operations Center Process Lead role is part of a 24/7 security team that analyzes and reports on risks to the company including facility intrusion, natural disasters, terrorism/crime, civil unrest, workplace violence, and other risks.
As the Process Lead for Safe & Secure Operations Center, you will be creating and executing programs and processes at the Operations Center located at the Atlanta headquarters facility to ensure that our 20,000 associates located across 200 locations throughout the country are protected in addition to our assets throughout the country. Responsibilities include developing and implementing processes and projects to enhance the performance of the Operations Center, analyzing and creating data sources to assess performance and make adjustments in order to improve operations. Data analysis and visualization, process creation and improvement, and technology expertise will be integral focuses. You will support the Senior Manager, Safe and Secure Operations Center in reviewing various sources to ensure that all processes, procedures, and/or protocols are being followed and executed in the best possible way to elevate performance. The Process Lead will work in close partnership with Operation Center Functional Leads to drive process and strategy creation and implementation. This position is salary based and reports to the Senior Manager, Safe and Secure Operations Center. Additional projects will be assigned as necessary.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of Operations Center performance which will come from independent data analysis, data review and data visualization efforts. This reporting is designed to drive action amongst Operations Center associates and field Safe & Secure partners. Ensure all data is the single source of truth.
- Collaborate with Operations Center Functional Leads to drive implementation and execution of all Operation Center associate routines, tasks and key performance indicators. Drive engagement and buy-in with team members, related to strategy, procedures and process improvements and technology enhancements.
- Drive workload efficiencies and innovation within the Operations Center by being the subject matter expert with technology systems such as Genetec and Dataminr. Translate expertise into elevating performance in the Operations Center.
- Continually generate new ideas and drive the innovation of our processes to ensure operational risk is reduced and profitability is increased in all aspects of the Operations Center.
- Create, execute and communicate project plans to ensure all parties have the information they need to succeed and the project meets the deadline.
- Keep every detail of the Operations Center operating like a “well-oiled machine”, but also take the time to think through strategy and process with a broad perspective and make the necessary improvements to fuel future growth.
- Initiate collaboration with Carvana Teams and vendor partners to ensure that processes are executed in a timely fashion and troubleshoot as needed to drive strong performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Occasionally travel to sites and/or corporate offices
- 3 years of security operations or call center experience.
- 1 years of experience with data analysis and data visualizations.
- 1 years of experience with Genetec and Dataminr technology systems.
- 1 years of experience influencing and/or helping to develop the strategic direction of a group/team.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, as dictated by business need.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to relate well with others and establish strong working relationships.
- Previous experience with audits/reviews to include documentation of findings and report out.
- Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
- Proven track record of strong decision-making in a complex environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Crisis Management Leadership experience
