What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager, Wholesale position at Carvana?
This is a Senior level management position that will be responsible for an assigned territory and all functions of wholesale operations within the territory. This includes, but is not limited to, production, team development/training, process implementation and execution. This position will be onsite within one of our Inspection Center locations. This position is not visa eligible.
What you'll be responsible for :
- Operational Efficiency: Quickly identify bottlenecks that affect site throughput, quality and efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis, develop action plans, and execute with the site leadership team and associates.
- Talent Development & Execution: Foster growth and development in our Team Lead and Vehicle Condition Associate populations by supporting Development Plans and providing regular performance and competency-based feedback.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Aid in the execution of Continuous Improvement projects at home site and, if applicable, throughout the region/network, while implementing and training process changes.
- Performance Management: Conduct weekly site performance reviews with Senior Wholesale leadership, reporting on performance versus targets, challenges, and countermeasures.
- Maintain Core Values and Competencies: Embody Carvana values through effective leadership, teamwork, and communication. Uphold Carvana operating standards and processes.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all site leaders adhere to health, safety, and loss prevention guidelines, maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to travel within assigned territory up to 75% of the time
- The ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity (kneel, crouch, squat, etc.) for extended periods of time (8 hours).
- Requires to work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to stay in stationary potions for extended periods of time
- Must possess basic computer skills and have familiarity with G-Suite products
