- Safely operate a tri-axle tractor and/or lowboy trailer to transport materials, goods, or equipment to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo onto the truck, ensuring proper securing and balance of the load.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach destinations on time, considering road conditions, traffic, and delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and other equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and clients.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the truck, both inside and outside.
- Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A) with appropriate endorsements for operating a tri-axle truck and flat bed.
- Proven experience as a TriAxle Driver or in a similar driving role.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Excellent driving skills, including the ability to maneuver large vehicles in different road and weather conditions.
- Ability to read maps and use navigation devices to plan routes effectively.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading cargo.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
