JOB SUMMARY
Carver County is looking for a dynamic attorney to fill a vacancy in our Criminal division. The specific classification and pay range will be dependent upon the candidate's qualifications.
Upon completion of necessary training, the Assistant County Attorney and Senior Assistant County Attorney positions are eligible for partial remote work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctoral degree in law from an accredited law school
- A valid Minnesota Driver's License or evidence of mobility
- A valid license to practice law in the State of MN
Senior Assistant County Attorney:
- Juris Doctoral degree in law from an accredited law school
- Five (5) years of experience as an Assistant County Attorney or equivalent experience as a practicing attorney
- A valid Minnesota Driver's License or evidence of equivalent mobility
- A valid license to practice law in the State of MN
Both positions require CJIS fingerprinting.
SCORED EXAMINATION PROCESS
All applications will be screened for minimum qualifications, scored and ranked. The highest ranked candidates meeting minimum qualifications will be recommended for the scored oral examinations (interviews). Final selection for the position will include successful completion of oral interview(s) and background investigation, including CJIS fingerprinting.
