JOB SUMMARY
Carver County CareerForce is hiring a Case Aide to support our Employment Counselors and Child Care Assistance workers. Under the direction of the Workforce Services Supervisor, the Case Aide provides a variety of case management support and client support services to assist professional staff in the management of their caseloads. This position will work FT Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. in the Chaska office. This position does not have the option to work remotely.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts and performs a variety of direct client services, depending upon program / unit assignment, to support professional staff in providing case management services to clients.
- Assists unit staff in the updating and maintenance of assigned unit case management files, records, reports or documentation requirements.
- Supports staff in providing customer service directly to job seekers and other clients in the CareerForce Center.
- Conducts assessments and program orientations with clients in various programs.
- Collaborates with professional staff by attending meetings, sharing information and communicating with other staff concerning clients' needs, problems, and issues.
- Performs and attends meetings and seminars to learn, gain and acquire developmental and human service skills needed to carry out assignments and responsibilities.
- Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.

SCORED EXAMINATION PROCESS
