JOB SUMMARY
The Carver County Attorney's Office is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to work in our fast-paced office. This position is under the direction of the Law Office Manager and provides administrative support services to attorneys and staff within our office.
The classification and pay range will be dependent upon the candidate's experience and education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Legal Administrative Assistant:
- High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of related experience in an office setting
- Associates Degree or Legal Secretary/Administrative certificate
Senior Legal Administrative Assistant:
- High school diploma or GED and five (5) years as a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Carver County Attorney's Office or equivalent legal administrative work experience in an Attorney's Office
- Associates Degree or Legal Secretary/Administrative certificate and three (3) years as a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Carver County Attorney's Office or equivalent legal administrative work experience in an Attorney's Office
Both positions require CJIS fingerprinting in addition to the regular background check.
SCORED EXAMINATION PROCESS
All applications will be screened for minimum qualifications, scored and ranked. The highest ranked candidates meeting minimum qualifications will be recommended for the scored oral examinations (interviews). Final selection for the position will include successful completion of oral interview(s) and background investigation, including CJIS fingerprinting.
