Under the direction of the Engineering Program Manager, the Assistant Right of Way Agent or Right of Way Agent will provide right of way land acquisition workflows for highway infrastructure projects.
We are currently looking for someone to fill either the Assistant Right of Way Agent, Right of Way Agent or Senior Right of Way Agent role. The classification will be dependent upon the applicant's qualifications. The typical duties and responsibilities will vary depending on which classification most closely matches a candidate's qualifications.

Right of Way Agent-Click hereto review job description. Pay range is $30.26 - $45.38 per hour.
Senior Right of Way Agent- Click hereto review job description. Pay range is $75,004.80-$112,486.40 annually. Minimum Qualifications will vary depending on which classification requirements the candidate meets.
Assistant Right of Way Agent- Associate's degree in Real Estate, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience in right of way acquisition and Certified as a Right of Way Agent (RWA) by the International Right of Way Association or the ability to obtain within 24 months. Valid driver's license is also required.
Right of Way Agent-Associates Degree or higher in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field and three (3) years of related and progressive work experience in the real estate/right of way industry OR Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field and one (1) year of related and progressive work experience in the real estate/right of way industry and Certified as a Right of Way Agent (RWA) by the International Right of Way Association, or the ability to obtain within 24 months. Valid Class D Driver's License.
Senior Right of Way Agent- Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college or university or successful completion of 30 semester credit hours of instruction from an accredited college or university and six (6) years related and progressive work experience in right of way acquisition/real estate. OR equivalent combination of education and experience and Certified as a Residential Real Property Appraiser in the State of Minnesota or the ability to obtain within 12 months. Certified as a Senior Right of Way Agent (SR/WA) by the International Right of Way Association, or the ability to obtain within 12 months. Valid Class D Driver's License or evidence of mobility. All applications will be screened for minimum qualifications, scored and ranked. The highest ranked candidates meeting minimum qualifications will be recommended for the scored oral examinations (interviews). Final selection for the position will include successful completion of oral interview(s), reference checks, and background investigation.
