Carver Living Center is a long-term care and rehabilitation center committed to providing compassionate and quality care to our residents. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Central Supply Clerk to manage and maintain our inventory of medical and facility supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, label, and store incoming supplies and equipment
- Maintain organized inventory in central supply room
- Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary
- Distribute supplies to nursing units and other departments
- Track supply usage and maintain accurate records
- Assist with vendor communication and purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous central supply or inventory experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is a plus
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
