Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals according to the planned menu and resident dietary needs
Follow recipes and portion control standards
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
Work collaboratively with dietary staff and nursing teams
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with inventory and food storage
Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout preparation and service
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or institutional kitchen setting
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
