We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and ensure a positive workplace culture.
Job Summary:
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and staff training. This role ensures that HR policies align with state and federal regulations while fostering an inclusive and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct interviews, manage hiring processes, and oversee new employee orientations.
- Maintain compliance with staffing requirements and state regulations.
Employee Relations & Retention:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
- Promote a positive work culture through engagement and recognition programs.
- Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on performance management.
Compliance & Policy Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, HIPAA, OSHA, and state/federal healthcare regulations.
- Maintain personnel files, employee records, and HR documentation.
- Update and enforce company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Oversee payroll processing
- Communicate benefits options and assist employees with questions.
- Work with employees to manage healthcare, retirement, and leave programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of employment laws, healthcare compliance, and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
