Responsibilities:
- Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise welding.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing welding tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, fabricators, and project managers, to achieve project goals and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, with a strong emphasis on welding.
- Experience working on heavy equipment a plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong commitment to safety practices and guidelines in a workshop environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
