Specific duties for the Automotive Used Car Manager include:
- Vehicle pricing
- Getting involved with deals, customer-facing
- Inventory management including buying, selling & wholesale
- Manage all aspects of vehicle reconditioning
- Manage the used car inventory and process lease returns
- Help manage all other aspects of the pre-owned sales department
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process
- Achieve manufacturer performance objectives
- Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals
Job Requirements
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Used Car Manager position include:
- Prior automotive preowned sales managerial experience is a MUST
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of inventory control
- Strong computer & phone skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong work ethic
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report in PA
