Swope Freedom Plan is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager with Skip Tracing skills to join our team. The role requires a deep understanding of Customer billing requirements and a proactive approach to resolving payment challenges.
Swope Freedom Plan is part of the Swope Family of Dealerships that has locations throughout the Hardin County area and Louisville. Swope has been in the Hardin County area for over 70 years. Keys responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Managing customer accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize past due receivables
- Collaborate with customers and third-party vendors to resolve issues of unapplied payments
- Determine next steps in the collection process when faced with a challenging situation, including but not limited to internal escalation or vehicle repossession
- Develop and sustain a cooperative relationship with our customers and company attorneys
- Understand customer billing and insurance follow-up requirements
- Must be able to follow collection processes and make detail notes on all accounts
- Release vehicle liens according to policies and procedures
- Utilize customer or third-party web portal for research and resolution
- Must be able to use skip sites for locating a customer
- Process customer credit application when necessary
Requirements
- Prior experience working in accounts receivables, billing, collections, or a customer service role with a strong understanding of customer account management
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational and problem- solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities
- Loan closing when needed
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of collections experience
- Must be a team player
