Job Summary: Seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical CAD Designer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying electrical drawings and schematics using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess existing electrical systems.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings and specifications.
- Review and analyze electrical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements and innovations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical design trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical CAD design, preferably in an industrial or complex setting.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation).
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
