Compensation Range :
18.00 / Hour (This is a tip pool eligible role)

What You'll Do :
At Casa Bonita, every team member is entrusted with creating memorable experiences for our guests by ensuring exceptional dining and entertainment. As a key member of the Kitchen team, the Dishwasher / Lavaplato is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization by washing, storing, and ensuring the availability of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment while adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. The role also involves wearing the correct uniform, practicing good personal hygiene, and using required safety equipment such as hats, nets, gloves, and non-slip shoes. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed, and you will check out with a manager at the end of each shift.
Responsibilities :
Always wear the correct uniform and maintain positive personal hygiene.Use required safety equipment, including hats, nets, gloves, and slip-resistant shoes.Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace throughout your shift.Set up, break down, and clean the dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets.Monitor the dish machine's operation and water temperature, reporting any issues to the manager.Wash, store, and stock all plateware, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment to ensure timely availability.Assist with unloading and storing deliveries, taking out trash, and completing daily and weekly cleaning tasks.Be aware of safety hazards, such as wet floors and temperature extremes, and maintain a safe, sanitary environment.Perform all duties in a cordial, friendly manner, focusing on exceeding team member expectations.Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Work non-traditional hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, days, late nights, holidays and special events. All shifts include a minimum of one weekend day.There is a blackout period from Thanksgiving week until the first week of January. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day to allow our employees to spend time with their families.Completes other tasks as assigned.Qualifications / Skills :
Must be over 18 years of age.Prior dishwashing experience required.Must attend all orientation and training sessions.Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and work in various conditions (e.g., wet floors, temperature extremes).Excels in fast-paced, high-volume environments, handling multiple tasks with energy and composure.Flexibility to assist with additional tasks as needed.Preferred :
Bilingual in SpanishPhysical & Environmental Demands :
Able to stand for extended periods and walk briskly throughout the shift.Capable of walking up inclines, stairs, and down declines multiple times during a shift.Ability to sit, stoop, bend, reach, and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.Possesses fine motor skills and dexterity.Able to withstand temperatures typical of a commercial kitchen setting.Comfortable working in a loud, distracting environment with flashing lights, haze machines, ongoing shows, and large crowds.Able to perform job duties efficiently under lighting conditions typical of a restaurant and kitchen.Comfortable engaging with the public, including encountering challenging behavior, infectious diseases, and service animals.Must be able to walk a minimum of 10,000 steps during any given shift.Benefits :
