What You’ll Do:
At Casa Bonita, every team member is entrusted with creating memorable interactions with our guests, ensuring an exceptional dining and entertainment experience. As part of the Entertainment Team, the Entertainment Crew ensures the smooth execution of live performances, working closely with others to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for both the audience and performers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patrons warmly, assist with seating, and provide information about the venue, show, and facilities
- Monitor and manage crowd flow to prevent congestion and ensure safety
- Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and protocols, ready to assist in evacuations or other emergencies
- Assist patrons with special needs, including providing accessible seating and necessary accommodations
- Organize and transport props, ensuring they are in optimal condition for each show
- Help patrons with lost items, directing them to the appropriate personnel for assistance
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by Entertainment leadership
Qualifications/Skills:
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior performance experience in theater, improv, hosting, or character acting
- Strong vocal projection and confident guest engagement
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging and entertaining the public
- Strong conflict resolution skills for show-related issues
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Must have reliable transportation and be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends, days, late nights, and holidays
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills
- Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines
- Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts
- Able to stand for extended periods and walk briskly throughout the shift
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure
