Compensation Range:
$22.00-$23.00/Hour (This position earns tips)

What You’ll Do:
At Casa Bonita, every team member is entrusted with crafting memorable interactions with our guests, ensuring an exceptional dining and entertainment experience. As part of the Guest Service team, the Guest Service Captain involves creating a magical guest experience by welcoming guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring smooth arrival check-ins. Responsibilities include supporting and supervising staff, troubleshooting reservations, and maintaining guest satisfaction by monitoring evaluations and reporting challenges. The role requires cross-departmental collaboration, clear communication of expectations, and coordination with table service to manage reservations and assignments effectively. Additionally, it involves supporting management by cascading internal updates and ensuring all Guest Service protocols are applied consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and interact with all guests to create a magical experience.
- Implement, support, and apply the Casa Bonita Experience.
- Assist in supervising staff and helping team members as needed.
- Greet guests and assist with inquiries, reservations, and arrival processes.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by exceeding expectations, monitoring evaluations, and reporting challenges to management.
- Maintain consistency in guest flow and address obstacles to ensure a smooth arrival experience.
- Work cross-departmentally to achieve shared goals and understand the impact of decisions on other areas.
- Set priorities, provide clear direction, and establish consistent expectations for team members.
- Develop solutions for reservation issues and troubleshoot arrival processes.
- Support management by communicating internal messaging, procedures, and standards.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free atmosphere while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have 1 year of supervisory experience or a similar role.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with team for all job responsibilities.
- Must attend all orientation and training shifts
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking, accuracy, and efficiency skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Willingness to follow procedures and take direction.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks with high quality and efficiency.
- Works non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. All shifts include a minimum of one weekend day.
- Must be able to work holidays.
- There is a blackout period from Thanksgiving week until the first week of January. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day to allow our employees to spend time with their families.

Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish
Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Able to stand for long periods of time and walk often at a brisk pace.
- Able to walk up inclines and stairs and down declines and stairs multiple times during a shift.
- Capable of sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds.
- Perform tasks requiring fine motor skills and dexterity.
- Withstand commercial kitchen temperatures, noise, and lighting conditions.
- Ability to work in a loud, distracting environment with flashing lights, haze machines, and large crowds.
- Walk a minimum of 10,000 steps per shift.
