Casa Bonita Overview

Casa Bonita is an iconic Mexican-themed restaurant and entertainment mecca in Lakewood, Colorado. Known as “the most exciting restaurant in the world,” the category-defining concept is an immersive experience that features dining in the midst of a 30-foot-tall indoor waterfall, cliff divers, puppeteers, magicians, and a mystical cast of characters. Casa Bonita is celebrating its 50th anniversary of being a part of the Denver community with a fan-base that continues to grow globally.

• Safety Monitoring: Supervise all water-based activities, including high-diving performances, to ensure the safety of performers, guests, and team members.
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly and effectively during water-related emergencies, including rescues, first aid, and CPR. Support performers during high-diving shows by maintaining safety standards.
• Show Operations: Collaborate with the Dive Team and Entertainment staff to ensure seamless performance schedules and safety protocols during live shows.
• Facility Oversight: Conduct regular inspections of the pool, equipment, and surrounding areas to ensure a clean, hazard-free environment. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting guests with any concerns related to pool safety or facility policies.
• Training Participation: Attend regular training sessions, including emergency drills and skill refreshers, to maintain certifications and readiness for aquatic safety scenarios.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with performers, managers, and other staff to deliver a safe and memorable experience for guests.

• Required Certifications:
  • Current Lifeguard certification (Red Cross or equivalent). Or ability to get certified upon hiring.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification required or ability to get certified upon hiring
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., Oxygen Administration) are a plus.
• Ability to meet swimming endurance standards and perform water rescues.
• Prior experience in lifeguarding or aquatic safety is preferred but not required.
• Strong observational skills, situational awareness, and ability to enforce rules with tact and professionalism.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be able to speak, read, and hear/understand English fluently. Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in a high-energy entertainment setting that includes live shows, themed environments, and large crowds.
