What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Managed Care Contracting position at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare?
The Director of Managed Care Contracting works with the Executive Director of Access and Reimbursement to manage and negotiate hospital contracts. Responsible for all contracts management of facility, professional and ancillary agreements. Negotiates contracts to assure the optimum balance of progressive growth and profitability. Coordinates closely with various departments as well as contracted entity.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance; Master's preferred.
- At least 5yrs experience working with health insurance contracts, including within a hospital environment.
- Proven track record with contract negotiations
- Proven relationships with local, California payors strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The annual salary range for this position is $150,000-$180,000
