Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Rate of Pay: Starting at $23.00/hr.

Who you are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in 24-hour staffing in LTC or health care preferred
- CNA certification required
Job Summary:
The Staffing Coordinator manages the staffing function for the Health Center’s licensed nurses and CNAs, creating the monthly staff schedule and maintaining the schedule as PTO requests and call-offs arise. Assists on the floor and/or assist with clerical projects as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develops and maintains a master schedule for nursing employees to ensure that staffing hours are based on census, department budgets, and appropriate hours per patient day (HPPD).
- Establishes and maintains monthly and daily schedules for staffing to meet resident and patient needs.
- Maintains confidentiality of information related to the business, employees, and performance of job duties.
- Enters PTO data into the timekeeping system.
- Generates and processes paperwork to DON related to the employment cycle of clinical employees including status, position, and other changes.
- Manages staff PTO requests and holiday schedules to maintain appropriate staffing.
- Tracks staff absences/call-ins and replaces staff as necessary.
- Reviews employee actual worked time. Completes and posts daily PPD worksheet.
- Reports early and late clock-ins to DON.
- Answers phones at Nursing Stations.
- Assist with resident care tasks and call lights as needed.
- Assists with clerical or administrative tasks as directed by the DON or Health Care Administrator.
