Server/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food preparation and cash transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts and a strong ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, assisting them in making selections as needed.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all customer requests are met.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high quality and presentation.
• Operate the cash register, processing payments swiftly while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others in the kitchen or dining area as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
