What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Staff position at Casa do Brasil?
In this role you will:
- Provide support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side
dishes and desserts according to recipes in an efficient manner.
- Ensure all inventory and fresh produce is of the highest quality.
- Manage inventory levels, including the storage area.
- Assist management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
- Complete any beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have or be willing to obtain, within 30 days of hiring date and at employee’s own
cost, an Accredited Food Handler Training Certificate.
- Must be able to carry objects up to 30 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and work at a
quick pace.
- Must acknowledge and comply with all Casa Do Brasil policies.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
NOTE: Restaurant operates seven days per week. Scheduling will be based on demands of
restaurant business. Flexibility is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.06 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
