About the role
The Supported Employment Manager will oversee Casa’s bilingual / bicultural Supported Employment Program and serve as liaison to other directors and managers within Casa’s integrated with behavioral health treatment model. This initiative seeks to provide our patients with the support and tools they need to obtain and maintain competitive employment, increase self-esteem, and reduce substance use. They will operate under the supervision of the Director of Familias Unidas Outpatient Program . Major responsibilities include implementing program curriculum and staff training plans; coordinating outreach activities; and managing the referral and intake process. They will play a lead role in developing employer partnerships, ensuring care coordination and management of supported employment services for clients across the continuum of care, and facilitating team meetings. They will work with the Director to ensure that benchmarks, timelines, goals and objectives are being met and reported as required. Although the Supported Employment Manager must work independently to fulfill the responsibilities of the job, s / he must also work collaboratively, in a spirit of teamwork, with all members of Casa’s Team. While most of the work will be done remotely, the Supported Employment Program Manager is expected to be onsite on a rotating or as-needed basis.
What you'll do
Service Delivery
Ensure that all program components and evidence-based practices are delivered to the target population and track progress towards project goals
- Develop Community Partnerships with area employers and educational institutions to learn about their hiring needs and provide clients with increased access to opportunity
- Collaborate with residential and outpatient staff to coordinate outreach and engagement of individuals seeking to engage in employment support services
- Engage with local and state vocational rehabilitation agency representatives
- Provide education and support to employers, which may include negotiating job benefits, accommodations, and follow-up with employers as needed with client consent
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure all clients' treatment and service plans are implemented accurately and accordingly
- Manage referral process and monitor case assignments to ensure appropriate caseloads
- Provide supported employment services to a small caseload, if needed

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
