We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Support residents in participating in social activities within the home community
- Ensure resident rights are respected at all times
Experience
- Experience in long-term care or home care settings is a must
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Familiarity with systems related to personal care assistance
- Background in social work or behavior management is a plus
