Job Summary:
The Team Lead is responsible for making sure that the daily operations of a retail outlet run smoothly by supporting staff on the sales floor and handling administrative duties. Their duties include inspecting inventory shipments, resolving customer complaints and training new team members.
This position is responsible for:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Track inventory.
- Assist the store manager in realizing or exceeding determined sales plans and target metric objectives.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales.
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures and report concerns to Store Manager.
- Ensure the store is secure at closing by checking if the doors are locked, alarms are set, and all safes are locked.
- All activities assigned.
Qualifications:
- Good analytical and math skills to create and analyze reports, sales statistics, and spreadsheets.
- Strong customer service skills since this is a customer-oriented job.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to work with teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills towards customers, staff members and store managers
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy merchandise, walk and stand for long hours.
- Outstanding sales abilities to sell items to customers.
Requires:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Requires at least 2 years of experience in the related area as a Retail.
- Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes will also be a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
