Pay: $800 per credit hour
Casa Loma College is hiring Sonography Adjunct Instructors & Lab Instructors to teach and support students in diagnostic medical sonography as we expand to our newest campus in Aurora, CO.

Position Summary
The Sonography Adjunct Instructor & Lab Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging instruction, assisting students with course material, and facilitating hands-on training in the lab. The ideal candidate is committed to student success, knowledgeable in ultrasound imaging techniques, and skilled in fostering an interactive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up skills lab exercises and competencies.
- Coordinate with faculty to ensure lab equipment and supplies are available as needed.
- Assist students in understanding course material and using ultrasound equipment.
- Provide hands-on practice opportunities in the lab.
- Offer tutoring support for coursework and technical skills.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure a safe working environment.
- Teach assigned classes according to course syllabi and institutional guidelines.
- Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate course records.
- Participate in curriculum review, instructional material selection, and program assessment activities.
- Stay current with industry advancements and integrate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of occupational experience in diagnostic medical sonography or a closely related field.
- Active certification, license, or other designations as required by local, state, or federal regulations.
- Teaching experience in online and/or residential classroom settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging and current trends in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to incorporate technology into instruction.
- Ability to work with diverse faculty, staff, and students in a collaborative learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
- Experience utilizing online teaching platforms and instructional technologies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
