Job Summary: Warehouse Worker - Retail Environment

Perfect part time or full time job, flexible job. Hours are only during the week, no weekends.

We are seeking a hard-working, reliable, and punctual warehouse worker to join our warehouse team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will work in our warehouse, accepting and processing incoming shipments. You will be expected to unpack and tag orders with speed and accuracy and have a team-player mentality while being committed to maintaining a safe and positive work environment. you will assist with hanging artwork, putting furniture on the floor, loading furniture in customers cars, etc.

Warehouse Worker Duties and Responsibilities

· Reliably receive and process incoming orders, inspecting each item for possible damage or defect including any damage to the containers such as pallets and boxes

· Accurately document received items, including, damaged items, and missing items.

· Print price tags and accurately attach price tags to each item

· Assist with moving small, medium and large items such as furniture, mirrors, lighting, artwork. Includes climbing ladders. Must be able to lift and move furniture

Take out boxes to trash daily

· Demonstrate commitment to all safety standards

· Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors

· Keep neat and orderly records of incoming orders

· Keep the warehouse clean and organized including placing collapsed boxes and trash in dumpster and sweeping warehouse floor

· Report any order discrepancies or issues to management ASAP

Warehouse Worker Requirements and Qualifications

· This job would be ideal for a high school or college student allowing for some flexibility as it relates to your school schedule. General warehouse hours are Monday-Friday 9a-6p

· If older than 18 a high school diploma or equivalent would be expected

· Valid driver’s license

· PHYSICAL EFFORT/DEXTERITY REQUIRED: The performance of the job requires, twisting, bending, crouching, reaching, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling, lifting and kneeling

· Able to work on your feet for long periods and lift 30 lbs regularly

· Basic computer skills for printing inventory tags

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal'
