What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Agent position at Casas de Suenos Old Town Historic Inn?
Looking for a front desk person with great customer service skills, a friendly outgoing demeanor and demonstrates good judgment making decisions related to guest satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service oriented manner
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly efficient and courteous manner.
- Registers guests and assigns rooms. Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Possesses knowledge of reservations system, including booking, cancellations and groups & events.
- Uses proper telephone etiquette. Responds to guest inquiries via phone, email and social media.
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card, policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information.
- Manage and resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
- Maintain an up to date working knowledge of all property amenities as well as any special events local area attractions and things to do around the hotel
- Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to the following: helping coworkers in other areas of the hotel maintaining a clean and organized work area and overall cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel and grounds
- Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
- Walks property to check rooms, grounds and show facilities
- Can keep on task while working alone.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
