We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to assist the Academic Director on a daily basis with a variety of clericial and admisitrative duties.
**We offer gas stipends for eligible employees, as well as a Chef prepared lunch and/or dinner depending on shift.**
About Us
At Cascade Academy, residential treatment center, we help adolescent girls struggling with severe anxiety embrace life with courage and joy. We work with girls from 13-18 years old achieve their goals and learn how to move through the challenges of debilitating anxiety. We believe each girl has unique causes of anxiety including her genetics/physical health, life experiences, patterns of thinking, distress tolerance levels, and ability to navigate relationships. Our treatment team addresses every one of these areas in a personalized plan. Our academy is intentionally kept small, a limit of 26 girls, and located in the heart of scenic Midway Utah.

Responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant include the following:
- Candidate will be able to assist the Academic Director in a variety of school related tasks:
- Compiling progress reports that are sent to parents on a bimonthly basis
- Keeping track of student progress in class
- Keeping a running record of student attendance
- Helping implement and organize student schedules
- Computer support, setting students up with emails and passwords
- Requesting transcripts, IEP’s and 504 plans from schools
- Helping keep the schoolhouse in order (cleaning and organizing)
- Assisting students in getting to class and individual support
- Compiling grad plans and transcripts for students
- Technical support for students enrolled in online classes
- Monitoring student activity online
Qualifications
- Must be 20 years of age
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Experience with adolescent age group preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelors preferred.
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations.
- Must demonstrate experience in working as a team.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Positive attitude
- Able to give constructive feedback
- Good listener
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
Work Location: In person
