What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at Cascade Academy?
Job Title: Mental Health Therapist
About Us
At Cascade Academy, a long-term residential treatment center, we help adolescent girls struggling with anxiety and OCD embrace life with courage and joy. We work with female-identifying adolescents from 13-18 years old to achieve their goals and develop the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges. We recognize that each student has unique contributing factors to her anxiety and OCD, including genetics, physical health, life experiences, thought patterns, distress tolerance levels, and interpersonal relationships. Our treatment team addresses each of these areas through a personalized approach. Cascade Academy maintains an intimate, supportive environment with a capacity of up to 26 students, providing comprehensive care over an average stay of about a year. Our campus is located in the beautiful town of Midway, Utah.
If you are looking to join a team of dynamic and experienced individuals dedicated to best-practice treatment, Cascade Academy offers an exceptional opportunity. As a privately owned and operated treatment center, we prioritize the well-being of both students and staff. We uphold values of balance in mind, body, and soul, encouraging professional and personal development through meaningful work and play. Therapists at Cascade Academy benefit from a manageable caseload, certification in specialized training, direct access to leadership, and a supportive, team-oriented environment.
