Cashier/Sales

Do you have experience with retail sales, convenience store settings, small retail business management, beer/wine sales, etc?

Must be 21 yrs old

This store operates separately but alongside its next door neighbor: a retail Cannabis shop. Applicants should be comfortable with that. Any experience along those lines as well is also potentially useful. One position could potentially lead into the other.

Clerk position available for part to full time.

List of Responsibilities:

Be an upbeat, friendly cashier for our many regular and local customers.

Keep an accurate till, and correctly ring up all transactions.

Be willing and able to work 7-8 hour long shifts.

Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept.

Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner.

Insure employee adherence to company policies.

Complete minimal daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management.

Monitor cash and inventory.

Have the physical ability to perform all duties of a store cashier regularly.

Follow and enforce all company policies and established procedures in the store operations.

Implement monthly promotions, insure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time.

Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.

Enforce all safety and security issues and report any and all unsafe conditions.

Report all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure.

Expected hours: 14 – 28 per week
