Job summary
Maintain, organize and track the raw material area according to company needs. Support manufacturing by supplying raw materials to the manufacturing lines based on provided requirements
Essential job functions
Maintain and organize the raw material area according to company needs
Support production lines by supply raw materials to production lines and restocking Kanban bins plus issue materials to work orders
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs in order to stock all incoming materials
Transfer materials between divisions and locations
Monitor stock levels and report shortages and material discrepancies
Create, print labels and stickers: Example UPC and contents box sticker
Enter Data in accurately in MRP system which includes workorder completions, kanban transfers, labor data, raw materials issues, material transfers and receipts of raw parts
Perform other duties and/or task that may be assigned on an as-needed basis
Minimum requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Production or warehouse experience
Must speak and read English
Computer Skills—Word, Excel and other Office applications, MRP and any other company programs
Certified on sit down and stand up forklifts
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
People Management Responsibilities
This person does not lead or supervise anyone
Signatory Authority
This person has the authority to sign off on incoming material receipts
Physical requirements
Factory environment, possible noisy and hot/cold temperatures
Must be able to lift 50lbs On a daily basis
Must be able to perform repetitive motion with arms, hands and wrists
Must be able to stand throughout an 8 hr shift
