GENERAL SUMMARY
Seeking a student pursuing a 4-year degree in the Engineering field for a summer internship. This individual will learn and work in all facets of the engineering group. Intern will support the manufacturing processes and collaborate with different departments in addition to their own, in areas such as Manufacturing, Quality, Materials, Skilled Trades, etc. Your responsibilities will combine individual tasks as well as collaborative work or group projects.
As an Engineering Intern, responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with various research, testing, and evaluations
- Processing documentation and conducting data analysis
- Conducting manufacturing audits
- Attending department, team and project meetings as necessary
- Assisting with process improvement projects tied to manufacturing
- Collaborating with other engineers, teams and departments
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Ability to work 40 hours a week during the scheduled semester
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Undergraduate Student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Sophomore or higher class standing
- Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and decision-making skills, and PC skills including Microsoft Office
