Job Description:
Cascade Eye Center is a multi-doctor optometry clinic looking for a highly motivated individual to fill our optometric technician/medical assistant position. Applicant must have superb customer service skills, highly motivated, and work well in a team environment for a busy office. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train. We are primarily looking to fill a full-time position (36-40 hours per week), but a part time position is also available for the right candidate (20-30 hours per week).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Chair-side assisting/medical scribing with the doctor during patient exams
- Data entry of patient's medical information
- Ordering and sales of contact lenses
- Assisting with medical diagnosis coding (ICD-10)
- Performing imaging of patient's eyes
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
Experience: 1 year of optometry/opthalmology technician or medical assistant experience preferred, but not required. 1 year customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
