Lumberyard Counter Sales

Cascade Fence and Deck is looking to bring on a motivated and passionate individual to head up our lumberyard counter sales. We supply local DIY'ers and contractors with materials for outdoor living projects, specializing in fence, deck, railing and patio cover projects.

The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Counter sales to walk in customers
• Writing up quotes for customers
• Helping customers with best product choice for their project
• Educating customers on best build practices
• Contractor/customer relationships (keeping them a happy long-term customer)
• Helping customers load up materials (requires forklift operation)
• Hitting monthly sales numbers (We don't like excuses, and are willing to helphit these)
• Reaching out to vendors about availability/leadtimes

In order to qualify for this position you must have a valid drivers license and insurable motor vehicle record.

Hours are Monday - Friday 8-5. (Overtime paid after 40 hours on the week)

Wages are determined after interview process and depending on experience and potential, but generally speaking looking to start between $25-$30 with lots of growth in the wage department for the right individual who comes in and proves it.
