Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in their daily activities. This position requires a commitment to patient care, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to clients with daily living activities and outings (doctor appointeeints, shopping trips, errands, going out to eat, etc)
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring their safety.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary in emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
- Document care/ Clock ins are provided accurately in compliance with organizational policies.
Experience
- Previous experience in patient care or direct support roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with nursing home environments or social work is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of first aid, CPR, patient monitoring techniques, and vital signs assessment is advantageous. ( Training can be provided)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving that prioritizes the dignity and respect of each individual served.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
