Exercise Technician at Cascade Kennels

Cascade Kennels is looking for more dog lovers to join our team!

The person hired for this position will have the skills and confidence necessary to walk all breeds of dogs, both large and small, including on-leash walking and off-leash playing. We are located on 7.5 acres of wooded trails, so if one-on-one quality time with dogs and nature appeal to you, this may be an ideal position.

Fair and Consistent Scheduling:
Our exercise technicians are kept on a consistent schedule (in other words, no unpredictable days on or off, you will have a work schedule you can plan around) to work with your life. While this is an entry level position in our company, we still value and respect your need to create a healthy work/life balance.

Competitive Pay Structure:
Our staff benefits from a typical tip increase of $3 per hour to the base wage of $18.50 - $19 being offered, subject to client gratuity. This means that if you earn $18.50 per hour, your take home will be more like $21.50 per hour on average based on the addition of these tips. Tip amounts and average may vary.

Our services include pet boarding, pet exercise, doggie daycare and grooming with services for dogs and cats. The Well Qualified Candidate will have:

* Ability to work weekends and/or weekday shifts including PARTIAL shifts on all holidays

* Physical stamina to walk long distances with dogs of all sizes

* Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons

* Prior experience with dogs

* Ability to interact positively with co-workers

* Must be able to work FULL 9:00 am to 6:00 pm shifts
