What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Cascade Lakes Brewery?
Cascade Lakes Brewing is looking for friendly, hard working servers to join our brew pub at Reed Market in Bend, Or.
We believe a good server is friendly, organized, and can communicate efficiently and effectively with a diverse group of customers. They are energetic, confident, have a strong knowledge of the menu and practice good time management skills. They must be able to work quickly in fast-paced environments and practice teamwork with service and kitchen staff. This role requires the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
Server responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing restaurant for service operations
- Checking ID and verifying age requirements
- Providing recommendations based on customer needs, taste, and preferences
- Taking orders and ringing in food & beverage items on POS
- Delivering drinks and food to tables while anticipating needs
- Collaborating with other restaurant servers, kitchen and bar staff
- Addressing complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Processing payment and thanking guests
- Bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables
