Our program blends therapy, academics, and life skills training to support students in building confidence, resilience, and a strong foundation for the future. With small class sizes and an individualized approach, we provide a structured yet supportive learning environment that fosters academic success.
We are seeking a qualified part-time English Teacher to join our team. This role involves implementing academic plans, providing direct instruction, and guiding students through both online and in-person curriculum in small, on-site classrooms (max 8 students). Teachers at Cascade Lodge play an essential role in both education and personal development, helping students strengthen their critical thinking, communication, and literacy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans with the support of the Academic Director
- Provide instruction in literature, writing, and grammar
- Grade essays, assignments, and assessments
- Foster a structured and organized classroom environment
- Encourage student participation in discussions and reading exercises
- Monitor and report on student progress
- Assign reading, essays, and other coursework to support learning goals
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible to hold a Utah state certification
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong instructional and communication skills
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet varying student needs
- Must pass a background check
- Strong classroom management and engagement techniques
Position Details:
- Job Type: Part-time, Monday - Friday, 20 hours per week
- Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Location: On-site at Cascade Lodge, Huntsville, UT

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Required)
- License: Middle School or High School Teaching Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Work Authorization: United States (Required)
