The Cascade Pacific Council of the Boy Scouts of America is seeking talented individuals who are passionate about coordinating resources for our volunteer program leaders. The successful candidate will help inspire volunteers to grow program membership, increase local financial support, provide safe and innovative programs, and positively impact the experience of young people and families.
The strongest candidates will possess servant-leadership qualities, the ability to work a flexible schedule (including some nights and weekends), and a desire to enrich the lives of members of our community.
The Community Resource Coordinator selected will:
- Work with high-level volunteers to ensure that programs are healthy and vibrant.
- Co-lead membership recruitment and enrollment campaigns and help communities achieve membership growth objectives.
- Work with volunteers to secure adequate financial support for programs in assigned area.
- Champion and provide knowledgeable support for the annual membership renewal process.
- Help develop adult volunteer recruitment, enrollment, and engagement plans.
- Encourage participation in year-round outdoor events.
- Collaborate with adult volunteers and ensure fulfillment of training requirement for their respective roles.
- Visit summer camp and event locations throughout NW Oregon and SW Washington.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Attained 21 years of age or older unless prohibited by any applicable law.
- Ability to travel for training at least once a year for one to two weeks.
Compensation:
All councils are equal opportunity employers. In addition to offering a competitive salary of $48,000-$52,000.
