- Follow established safety and quality standards including use of a supplied air respirator
- Clean and prep industrial surfaces for painting using necessary tools
- Mix and apply urethane and epoxy paint coatings utilizing a variety of methods
- Specify and select industrial coatings for corrosion prevention on industrial equipment
- Clean paint equipment and dispose of waste
- Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on paint equipment
- Work independently predominantly or use excellent oral and written communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Complete other duties as assigned
Job related background: Successful completion of an apprenticeship program including class work and three or more years of journey-level industrial painter experience. Six or more additional years of relevant experience may substitute for apprenticeship.
Journey Level Industrial Painter Shift schedule, 7:30-4:00, Monday-Friday and overtime as needed including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
