The primary purpose of this position is to provide teachers or the school with classroom, clerical, instructional, and/or school supervision duties. Responsibilities will include a variety of routine activities as well as more complicated tasks involving carrying out instructional or support plans for students under teacher supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Obtained an associate’s degree or higher; or meet a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal state or local academic assessment the knowledge of and the ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing and mathematics or the instruction in readiness for these subjects.
- Fingerprint-based criminal history verification clearance.
- Additional training or work experience with school-age children preferred.
- Proficient in the operation of personal computers (PC) and such programs as MS Word, Excel and database management systems.
- Skill in verbal and written communication and basic math.
- Ability to work around and with children.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in performing assigned tasks.
- May be required to obtain a First Aid Card.
Salary : $17 - $21
