What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Cascade Skating?
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to become an integral part of our team! As a Server, you will be tasked with keeping the lounge area cleaned, taking and delivering orders in a timely fashion, and keeping guests smiling to ensure everything is running smoothly. You will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
¨ Preparing restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
¨ Attend to customers upon entrance to the restaurant.
¨ Presenting menus, serving, and helping customer select food and beverage items
¨ Take and serve orders.
¨ Answer questions or make recommendation that meets customer satisfaction.
¨ Collaborate with other restaurant staff. i.e: server, kitchen, and bar staff.
¨ Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
¨ Issue bills and accept payment.
¨ Cleaning and preparing table for next guest.
¨ Fulfill additional assignments given by management.
Qualifications:
¨Must be 21 or older
¨ High School diploma or equivalent
¨ Previous experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields
¨ Hands on experience with cashier duties
¨ Patience and customer-oriented approach
¨ Excellent people skills
¨ Attention to details.
¨ Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast pace environment to provide excellent service.
¨ Ability to work in a hookah-smoking environment.
¨ Ability to build rapport with guests.
¨ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
