Hospice Chaplain

Cascade Springs is a locally owned and operated Hospice and Home care company. We take pride in providing the best possible care to our patients. We provide services for the frail elderly, developmentally disabled, patients recovering from surgery or illness, as well as those living with long-term disability or illness. Currently we are in need of a reliable, self motivated Hospice Chaplain to join our team. In this position you would be going to facilities as well as the patients homes, would have to be willing to travel.

This position is Part Time for Weber/Davis County

Qualifications and Experience:

• The Chaplain is responsible for working closely with the manger/RN case manager in providing all spiritual/religious cares to the patients/families.
• The Chaplain will have strong faith and positive attitude toward the circumstances surrounding the patient.
• The chaplain will exhibit tolerance and sensitivity to the faith and belief of others.
• The chaplain will have the ability to communicate well and uplift others without being judgmental.

• Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
• Attends all staff meetings, unless chaplain has been excused
• Represents the organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
• Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the organization
• Attends annual review, chaplain meetings, and department in-services, as scheduled
• Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement, as directed by Supervisor
• Reports directly to the patient’s RN case manager, Supervisor

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
